These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kickstart Bootcamp Limited’s website, password-protected portal, and training course. By accessing our website or using course services, including digital resources and content, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Course registration

When you register for a course, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; maintain and promptly update your information; keep your password secure and confidential; and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Intellectual property

All content and materials provided through our services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Kickstart Bootcamp or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kickstart Bootcamp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits or revenues, or loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use our services; unauthorised access to or use of our servers or personal information stored there; or bugs, viruses, or similar material transmitted by a third party.

While we endeavour to keep website information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties about its completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability. Reliance on this information is at your own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of this website or our services.

Course terms of service

These Terms apply to students attending or applying for a Kickstart Bootcamp course. By attending or applying, you agree to them until you successfully complete the course, unless terminated or cancelled earlier under these Terms.

Course attendance and conduct

Our courses are intensive and demand serious commitment. We may suspend a student who disrupts the course. We aim to resolve issues through coaching and dialogue first, but serious disruptive behaviour may result in immediate suspension. If, after reasonable investigation, a student is unable to keep up and unlikely to complete the course, we may dismiss them. If the student has made a genuine effort, we may offer a pro rata refund based on remaining full weeks; otherwise, the section on fees if the course is not completed applies. Students must follow rules set by Kickstart Bootcamp and the venue; failure to do so may result in exclusion.

Course content and structure

Full-time courses run for six weeks, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. Part-time courses run for 12 weeks, Saturday and Sunday, 09:00–19:00. We continually review and improve course price, content, structure, and delivery, so a course may differ from previous courses or descriptions on our website or in communications. Future course prices, timings, and structure are subject to change.

Deposit and course fees

Accepted students must pay a non-refundable deposit of 15% (currently £270) of total course fees to secure a place. This deposit is deducted from the fees. Places are limited and allocated first come, first served; a place is reserved upon receipt of the deposit.

After paying the deposit, students must pay the remaining 85% (currently £1,530) on the first day of the course, by the time stated by the course leader or finance person. If full payment is not received by the start of the second day, we may revoke the student’s place. Fees, including the deposit, are non-refundable except as specified in the refund policy.

Payment methods and third-party payment plans

Students may pay the deposit and course fees online through the payment provider (ANNA) or by bank transfer as directed by Kickstart Bootcamp. We also accept cash for the remaining 85% if paid to the finance person or course leader as directed on the first day. We are not responsible for payments made to any other entity or individual. Independent third-party providers may offer loans, but we are not responsible for those loans or services; students should conduct their own due diligence.

Fees if the course is not completed

If a student does not complete the course, we reserve the right to charge the full outstanding fees immediately. In exceptional cases, we may waive part or all of the outstanding fees at our sole discretion.

Refund policy

Deposits and course fees are non-refundable unless Kickstart Bootcamp cancels the course, in which case all paid fees will be refunded. If a course is suspended for less than a month, no fees will be refunded. For longer suspensions, students may resume later or receive a pro rata refund for the suspended portion.

Chargeback and fraud

Suspected fraud or fraudulent payments will be reported to the police and authorities. Associated individuals will be suspended and may be banned from future courses depending on the investigation. Applicants who dispute or charge back course payments will also be suspended immediately and may be banned.

Right to study

Students must have the right to study in the UK and hold a current visa if required. Guidance is available from UK Visas and Immigration. Generally, UK, EEA, or Swiss passport holders do not need a visa. Kickstart Bootcamp is not accredited for the “student visitor” category. Students must provide photographic ID upon enrolment; if relying on other documents, provide details when applying.

Course liability

If Kickstart Bootcamp cancels a course, deposits and fees paid will be refunded; beyond this, we will not be liable. Except for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud, we are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss or claims arising from course provision. Total liability will not exceed course fees. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Intellectual property and publicity

“Intellectual Property Rights” include patents, trademarks, service marks, domain names, registered designs, copyrights, database rights, and confidential information rights. “Student Content” means materials you submit during the course. You retain ownership of your content but grant Kickstart Bootcamp a licence to use it for promotional purposes. Course content remains the property of Kickstart Bootcamp or its licensors. You may use provided materials for personal use only and must not reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell them without permission.

Photography, filming, and recording

Kickstart Bootcamp may create promotional content that includes filming, photographing, or recording students. By participating, you grant Kickstart Bootcamp the right to use this content worldwide, in any media, for promotional purposes without compensation. You waive moral rights to the content; Kickstart Bootcamp may modify and use it as needed. No fees will be paid for repeat broadcasts or other uses.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of Kickstart Bootcamp, first address your concerns with the relevant course leader. If you are not satisfied with the response, email management at contact@kickstartbootcamp.co.uk.

Third-party job opportunities

Kickstart Bootcamp may inform you of job opportunities from third parties. We are not responsible for these third parties or opportunities; conduct your own due diligence before accepting any offer.

General terms of service

Effective 24 June 2024. These Terms apply to the agreements above, to all users of our website and services, and to students attending or applying for our training courses. By using the website, services, or courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of services

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes. You must not violate applicable laws or regulations; infringe others’ rights; threaten or harm others; refuse to pay for our services; interfere with or disrupt our services; or upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or malicious content to our website.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by English law and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website; continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
